Our Sponsors

Welcome to the Arkansas Craft School. Our craft studio, located in the heart of beautiful, historic downtown Mountain View, Arkansas, houses a variety of craft and art workshops to hone your already established skills, or open new vistas for your creative spirit. Our courses in wood, metal, glass, clay, fiber and studio arts, honor the traditional roots of craft forms while inviting an investigation of these materails for their potential as contemporary visual art forms.

Mountain View is a destination for many seeking a quaint get-away to the Ozark Mountains. This charming town provides Craft School students lodging options within walking distance including motels, cabins, and bed-and-breakfasts. Our school is situated on Main Street, right off the Courthouse Square, allowing students to have access to an assortment of cafes, restaurants, shops, and galleries - all within a few blocks. Known for its folk music, impromptu evening jam sessions have local musicians routinely bring out their fiddles, banjos and dulcimers to delight visitors.

We hope you will join us soon for a workshop to enrich your creative curiosity and nourish your artistic spirit.

Support for the Arkansas Craft School is provided, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
