Dry Needle Felted Painting Continues


In this 1 day workshop, students will use wool roving to make a leaf painting on wool.  Students will learn techniques using a barbed felting needle to paint an 8×10 leaf picture in the winter colors of blue or fall colors of red.  Learn how to transfer patterns or drawings.

Students must have patience to work with small pieces.  This course is suitable for beginners to advanced – Delisa happily offers her expert instruction and guidance to further each student’s artistic goals.

I believe I was born with a crayon in my hand. As far back as I remember I have been artistic and labeled a little different. My formal training has not been through schools as much as through being hands on and open minded, forward thinking and pushing past the rules. I love textiles, their texture, their shape, their color, and making a conscious effort to use them in my art. I have always known that I wanted to be a sculptor. My profession allowed for that dream in a quirky sort of way. I was a Certified Master Animal Groomer for many years and still have a love of animals that shows in my work. Now that I am retired I am able to pursue the love of art and share that love with others. "Felted Wool" is just a different form of my love of sculpting.
