Q. - How do I donate to the Arkansas Craft School?

A. - The Arkansas Craft School welcomes all charitable donations in support of the School's mission and vision to educate aspiring and practicing craft artisans for success in the creative economy. The generosity of individuals and corporations provides opportunities for students from all economic backgrounds to participate in our classes. The Arkansas Craft School is registered with the Interal Revenue Service as a 501.c.3 educational charity. All donations are tax deductible, as allowable by law.


Q. - What lodging is available in the area?

A. - The Arkansas Craft School's artisan studio is located in the heart of downtown Mountain View, just off the Square; where students can find motels, bed and breakfasts, cabins, restaurants and cafes, as well as speciality shops and evening music. Go to Mountain View Chamber Lodging for a list of lodging options that are available to students to enable timely reservations.

Q. - What fees apply to the courses?

A. - A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per course is required to hold your spot in each class. Full tuition payments are due at a time set before the 1st day of your intended class. Tuition payments may be made by check (Payable to the Arkansas Craft School), money order, credit card or simply pay online. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover. Materials fees are payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class, and should be paid in cash or by check.

Q. - How can I register for a class?

A. - Registration can be done on the ACS website or you can register for courses by phone. Upon receiving your Course Registration information, we will secure your place in the class of your choice. You will receive a registration packet which will include your confirmation letter, as well as any pertinent information from your instructor.

Q. - Are there any scholarhip opportunities for classes?

A. - Scholarships are available based on financial need and merit. Scholarship application forms can be provided by calling us at (870) 269-8397. Don't forget to ask abour our student discounts!

Q. - Do you offer Continuing Education Credits?

A. - Continuing Education Credits for Arkansas Craft School courses are available through our partnering organizations, Ozarka College. Ozarka College is a two year college located in Melbourne, Arkansas; with satellite campuses in Ash Flat, Mammoth Springs and Mountain View. Q. - How Can I Donate?

A. - The ACS is a nonprofit organization and, as such, is eligible to receive donations to the extent allowed by law. Donations can be made by mail, P.O. Box 2649, Mountain View, AR 72560 or by calling 870-269-8397. The ACS is supported in part by the Arkansas Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
