Brit has been making ceramics for almost 20 years, moved to Mountain View from Memphis in 2023. From 2013-23 she built a pottery brand called Paper & Clay that has been featured in numerous publications including the New York Times and Southern Living. She recently handed this brand over to another studio in Memphis so that she could downsize and return to making each piece on the wheel. She now creates under Brit McDaniel Ceramics. She also serves as this season’s pottery apprentice at the Ozark Folk Center. Also she is one of the potters at the Arkansas Craft School.
