This 3-day class will address how to forge a blade as opposed to grinding one from bar stock.

We will be using a gas fired forge and be forging hunting knife type blades. This class is designed to teach and familiarize the student with the types of steels that are used for forging blades, the proper heat/ temperature, how to prepare for rough grind and heat treat.
