We will observe Juneteenth on June 18th, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved of African-Americans with a public reading of General Order No. 3, as General Granger did on June 19, 1865 in Galveston, Texas; effectively ending Black slavery in the United States. The reading will take place at 2 p.m. and refreshments will be served after the reading. Call (870) 269-8307 for more information.
