Harry loves to paint the natural beauty of the area in oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolors. His favorite subjects are landscapes, water, old tractors, cars, and barns.

Harry “Bub” Branton and his wife Darla moved to Mountain View in 2019 after retiring from 42 years of family Farming in the Mississippi Delta. Having studied Fine art at LSU as a Painting Major he continued art as a hobby winning local awards in the Delta Art Association shows and being written up in local publications. “Workshops with teachers Bobby Thompkins, Dot Courson and Jim Tindall has kept me focused.” He paints in Oils, Acrylics, Pastels and Watercolors. His favorite subjects are landscapes, water, old tractors, cars and barns. Galleries in Mississippi have sold his works and he is in private collections in Mississippi. He says “ I am so grateful to be retired and free to pursue my passion for art here in this beautiful place filled with wonderful folks.”
