Pam Alexander

Jewelry

Pam primarily works in Sterling, Fine Silver, and natural stones using traditional silversmithing methods, but occasionally will create with silver metal clay.  Her first love is turquoise.

After retiring from her professional career as a Certified Public Accountant, Pam Alexander met another retired CPA who was teaching silver metal clay classes at Arkansas Museum and Art Center.  Pam was inspired by the teacher/artist’s jewelry and she convinced Pam to take her class.  Since then Pam has taken several classes at the Art Center in Little Rock, Arkansas Craft School, Eureka Springs School of Art, Melissa Orisini’s Jewelry Studio, as well as, many online classes with national and internationally known silversmiths.  She continues to learn new methods and approaches to creating jewelry.

She is a member of the Arkansas Craft Guild, a juried group of some Arkansas’s finest artists. She primarily works in Sterling, Fine Silver, and natural stones using traditional silversmithing methods, but occasionally will create with silver metal clay.  Her first love is turquoise,  but she also creates unique jewelry with other semi-precious cabochons and gemstones, as well as, jewelry without any stones.

Her jewelry can be found at the Arkansas Craft Gallery and the Calico Rock Museum’s Artisans Market located inside the museum.  She is, also, a participating artist at the juried Arkansas Craft Guild Annual Christmas Showcase in Little Rock.
