I am a self taught artist who used to dabble with watercolors years ago, then rediscovered art first with wood-burning then progressing to acrylic after a trip to Hobby Lobby about four years ago. First it was painting for co-workers an family as gifts until someone commissioned me to paint a family scene, then pet portraits, and then I called myself an artist. I’ve painted a lot of birds, butterflies and flowers, but the world around me or the places I’d like to visit have been my recent work.
