Golf Tournament, May 18

The amenities are nice but the real star of the show here at Indian Hills Golf Course is the unmatched high quality of the course design. Indian Hills Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout. There are four sets of tees for players of all abilities to enjoy the natural surroundings as they make their way around one of the best-kept secrets for championship golf in Arkansas. The signature hole at Indian Hills is the par three seventeenth hole that players must hit across a large ravine to an elevated green that slopes severely from back to front. Players who hit great shots beneath the hole will rewarded with an excellent chance at birdie. Shots missing the green will require a great up and down to save par. Indian Hills Golf Course is true yet fair test of golf and welcomes all players to come and test their skills on this challenging layout.

Career Education

Are you looking for a career that will allow you to engage in work that you like and allows you to express yourself artistically? The Arkansas Craft School (ACS) might be the place to start.

The ACS offers programs where you can earn a Certificate of Competency in Craft Arts in Artistic Blacksmithing.

Both courses are 16 weeks long with classes on Tuesdays through Friday.  Required safety equipment includes leather footwear – closed toe, work boot or shoe.  Students are responsible for securing their lodging.

Admission is based upon ability to benefit without regard for previous education.

More information on the Career Education program can be found on the ACS website wwwe.arkansascraftschool.org   Or by contacting Nikki at nikki.morrow@arkansascraftschool.org or call (870) 269-8397.

The Arkansas Craft School located in Mountain View, Arkansas is open Wednesday – Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
