Arkansas Department of Tourism Visits the Arkansas Craft School

The Arkansas Department of Tourism Welcome Center Division was recently introduced to the Arkansas Craft School. With a lot of laughing, getting clay on their hands, testing their creativity through collage, wire wrapping, and palette painting a crowd of 40+ people experienced some of the classes of the Arkansas Craft School. 

Further samplings of classes were gained through artist demonstrations of wood carving, glass beads, and bladesmithing.

Kayla Hardage, Welcome Center Administrator, was so impressed with the workshop that another one is being planned for a different Welcome Center group later this Fall.
