Beautiful Bronze Baubles - Introduction to Bronze Metal Clay
Does the crazy price of silver have you down? Looking for a warm, gorgeous metal that won't break the bank? Maybe both? Then let me introduce you to Bronze Metal Clay.
In this beginner two-day workshop, you will get your hands dirty molding, sculpting and/or texturing bronze metal clay that will be fired in class for you to take home and show off!
We will cover basic clay handling, combining different bronzes, greenware finishing, kiln firing, and post kiln finishing. You can make pendants, earring charms, bracelet charms, or pocket tokens - or all of these!
Your class kit includes 3 - 50 gram packs of bronze clay - all three colors of bronze, findings, use of all the tools and consumables to create your pieces, and carbon firing.
