Enameling On Copper
Learn how to combine glass and metal in this beginner friendly class. We will be working with lead-free enamels and copper metal to create pendants, earrings and charms that will add color and interest to your jewelry.
Techniques covered in the class include sgraffito, using stencils, incorporating seed beads and stringers, and layering. You’ll learn how colors work together, how to prepare metal for enameling, how to fix issues as they arise and more.
Students will create a selection of pieces using the different techniques that can be made into several pendants and earrings (and even a small ring bowl!). Multiple findings are provided.
