











Intermediate to Advanced Glass Beadmaking, Nov 14-15

Location: 101 N Peabody Ave, Mountain View, Arkansas (Main Campus)
This two-day workshop is for students who have anywhere between 1 month to 10 years of glass beadmaking experience.
We will proceed through a fast pace of techniques such as complex dotting, multiple layers of stringers and layouts for feathering and surface manipulation, transparent color overlays and clear casing over details, and simple or complex murrine canes, depending on the students’ personal interests. We will make at least 4 kinds of twisted canes and use them on several shaped beads. We will make folded beads, disk beads, bent beads, fish and more. We will use Dichroic glass, Silver foil and some special silver glass and a demonstration of making blown beads.
