Introduction To Wheel Throwing, February 21-22
Dates: February 21-22, 2025
Time: 12pm - 4pm
Tuition and Materials: $285
Instructor: Brit McDaniel
Students: Age 16+
Location: Arkansas Craft School
A Two-Day workshop covering the basics of throwing on the wheel. Brit will demonstrate centering, opening and pulling up the walls of a basic cylinder and assist students in their work. Students will keep up to 3 pieces that they’ve made to finish on day two. The second day of the workshop Brit will demonstrate trimming and underglaze application. Student pieces will be finished with a clear glaze and made available for local pickup. Finished work can be shipped to visiting students for a small fee. Each day will be between 3.5-4 hours in length.
