Summer Art Camp
Ages 6-8 years old
Young creators are invited to explore, imagine, and make art all week long at the Arkansas Craft School Summer Art Camp! Designed for ages 6–8, this five-day camp introduces students to a variety of fun, hands-on art projects in a creative and encouraging environment.
Throughout the week, campers will create projects including:
Pinch pot clay creations
Block printing
Paper weaving
Mixed media collage
Additional creative activities
Camp will be held July 7–11 from 12:30–4:30 PM each day. Students should eat lunch before arriving. A snack will be provided daily.
Parents and families are invited to attend a student art show on the final day of camp where campers can proudly share their artwork before taking projects home.
Join us for five creative afternoons at the Arkansas Craft School Summer Art Camp! Designed for ages 13–17, this week-long camp introduces students to a variety of artistic mediums while encouraging creativity, problem solving, and hands-on making.
Each day, students will explore a different project and technique, including:

Coiled yarn bowl making
Value study painting
Lino-cut printmaking
Additional mixed media activities
Camp will be held July 21–25 from 12:30–4:30 PM each day. Students should eat lunch before arriving. A snack will be provided daily.
On the final day of camp, parents and families are invited to attend a student art show where campers can share their creations before taking their projects home.
Ages 9-12 years old
Young artists are invited to spend the week creating, exploring, and learning new artistic skills at the Arkansas Craft School Summer Art Camp! Throughout this five-day camp, students ages 9–12 will experiment with a variety of hands-on art techniques while building creativity and confidence.
Projects throughout the week will include:
Coil building with clay
Foam printing
Pop Art painting
Loom weaving
Additional mixed media activities
Camp will take place July 14–18 from 12:30–4:30 PM each day. Students should eat lunch before arriving. A snack will be provided daily.
Parents and families are invited to attend a student art show on the final day of camp where campers can proudly display their artwork before taking projects home.
