Student: Ages 14+
Location: Main Campus at 101 N Peabody Ave, Mountain View, Arkansas
This workshop will teach students a simple 4-step method to be able to effortlessly navigate art museums and discuss and understand artwork like an expert.
Student Comment: In the “Touch with your Eyes” class the instructor provides an overview of the basic art elements and principles. She does a wonderful job of introducing and explaining basic art concepts like; line, shape, form to name a few. These concepts are re-enforced with firsthand exercises and guided practice. The instructor invites the students to experience art with a deeper non-fussy understanding, and keeps a non-intimidating, friendly, light atmosphere for the class.
I thoroughly enjoyed her class. The instructor was very knowledgeable, patient and approachable. All the students left the class feeling empowered with a deeper appreciation of the art we see in and out of museums.
