Debbie Russell lives in Malvern, Arkansas and has been chip carving since 2015. Deb was invited to teach chip carving classes at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska at the annual Doane Experience presented and offered by Mid-America Woodcarvers Association, (a carving club Deb belongs to).

Deb is known for her friendly, patient and enthusiastic manner in teaching chip carving classes. She has a goal of not only teaching those new to chip carving or those experienced chip carvers, but of making each class enjoyable and enthusiastically working one on one with each student to complete their unique, one of a kind project in the time time. Remember, we all can learn something new and sharing knowledge is a wonderful way to expand our own knowledge and skill set as well as passing on traditions.
