Intermediate Bead Making, March 28-29

Time: 10am - 3pm (break for lunch)

Students: Age 17+
Location: Main Campus- 101 N. Peabody
This two-day workshop is for students who have anywhere between 1 month to 10 years glass beadmaking experience. We will proceed through a fast pace of techniques such as complex dotting, multiple layers of stringers and layouts for feathering and surface manipulation, transparent color overlays and clear casing over details and simple or complex murini canes depending on the individuals personal interests. We will make at least 4 kinds of twisted canes and use them on several shaped beads. We'll make folded beads and disk beads and bent beads. There will be a chance to make faces or fish or vessels all using skills for design learned in class.
